Complete in house laboratory: Our clinic houses an array of equipment to allow rapid diagnostic evaluation of your pet.
Heska Dri-Chem 4000
This machine is responsible for providing chemical analysis of your pet’s blood sample. This machine allows assessment of different organ systems (kidney, liver, gastrointestinal tract) and electrolyte values.
Heska Hematrue
This machine provides rapid analysis of your pet's complete blood count (CBC). Information from this machine allows analysis of red and white blood cell parameters along with platelet counts. Having rapid access to this information is important in all cases but especially surgical and critical/emergency cases so treatment can be provided in a timely manner.
Fecal analysis
Our fecal float system provides rapid analysis of your pet’s feces when gastrointestinal parasitism is a concern.
Tono-Pen XL
The tonometer is a device that is used to assess your pet’s ocular (eye) pressure. This information aids in the diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma in our canine and feline patients.
Cardell Oscillometric Blood Pressure Monitor
his monitor allows for assessment of your pet’s blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation in a non-invasive manner. This portable device is used in emergency situations but can also be used to monitor other disease processes that can affect blood pressure, such as heart disease and kidney disease.
